GESFWA (Global education support forum for working adults) is a not-for-profit mission oriented organization with international chapters. GESFWA is working to standardize the education for working adults world over and increase its outreach by providing required systems and solutions.

Education for working adults is different from the normal educational setup, working adults have different requirements and need education which they may pursue along with their jobs. For long an urgent need was being felt for standardizing and promoting working adults’ education world wide so that all those working adults who couldn’t complete their education for any reason and are now facing difficulties in their career may also get good quality education along with their jobs and may move forward and progress in their career.

In order to solve this problem of 1/3 population of the world i.e. working adults, GESFWA was launched in June 2007 with the mission of standardizing the education for working adults world over and increasing its outreach by providing required systems and solutions. GESWA took some major initiatives and launched different systems and solutions which were required. Also, to ensure that it reaches in every corner of the world, chapters were created with the help of regional educationists. Currently GESFWA’s network is growing at an enormous pace and educationists from all countries of the world are becoming GESFWA’s member to carry it mission in their respective regions. Our Chapters & Members:

To accomplish our mission of promoting working adults’ education worldwide, we have created chapters in different countries. All these regional chapters have native members who are related to the field of education in one way or the other, such as faculty members, administrators in educational institution, members of regional accreditation body and govt. officials from education ministry etc. All these members have certain responsibilities and get many benefits in return.

What Members do:

To promote education for working adults, GESFWA’s members:

• Participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences on city, state, national, and international level. These measures are meant to improve the standards of education for working adults, and to promote the working adults’ education.
• Contribute in a variety of GESFWA’s regional publications, such as articles on the promotion and betterment of educational standards for working adults and other related subjects.
• Visit and verify the credibility of the information provided by different regional educational institutions who apply for accreditation. (To uplift educational standards, GESFWA has created IAO (International Accreditation Organization) to grant accreditation to educational institutes for working adults.
• Boost GESFWA’s network within their region.

Membership Procedure:

Becoming GESFWA’s member is very easy. Just follow the simple steps listed below.

• First of all, you will have to fill a detailed form with your complete personal and professional details.
• GESFWA will evaluate your membership request and you’ll be informed about membership decision within 24-48 hours of application submission.
• As soon as you become our member, your membership certificate will be mailed to you, and a personalized member area will be created for you on GESFWA’s website. Through this member area you can do a lot. It will give you free access to all the latest GESFWA news, happenings, updates, and all other GESFWA related information. From your member area you can also make your contributions to your chapter’s publications. You can also opt for other activities such as visits to educational institutions etc. And there’s a lot more you can do from your personalized member area.
